NSResolve is a diagnostic tool for exploring public DNS. Its results are a snapshot of the answers received at the time of a query.

Interpreting results

Answers may vary by resolver, cache state, network path, geographic routing, delegation, and nameserver availability. Matching answers do not prove that a domain is configured correctly everywhere. An empty answer does not necessarily mean the domain does not exist.

Confirm important changes

Check important changes against your DNS provider’s configuration and authoritative nameservers. Use additional diagnostics when investigating availability, email delivery, or security issues. NSResolve does not certify the security or ownership of a domain.

Availability and acceptable use

The service is provided as available, without a guarantee of accuracy, completeness, or uninterrupted access. Requests may be limited or time out. Use it for legitimate DNS diagnostics; do not attempt to bypass limits or disrupt this or other services.
