About NSResolve
A clearer way to explore public DNS.
NSResolve helps you see the records behind a domain and understand where the answers come from.
One domain. Several perspectives.
Query Cloudflare, Google, Quad9, or the domain’s authoritative nameservers. Inspect individual answering endpoints, compare public resolver record sets, and read TTL values alongside the results.
Built on AuthLookup
NSResolve uses the existing AuthLookup DNS engine, input validation, timeouts, and abuse protections, with its own interface and explanatory content. Queries run from the server hosting the application, rather than from your browser’s network.
What the tool does not measure
Comparing three providers is not a worldwide propagation test. Responses can differ because of caches, location, routing, load balancing, or configuration. Querying DNSSEC record types does not by itself validate DNSSEC signatures.
A focused public tool
NSResolve is operated by David Priest. There are no accounts, subscriptions, or advertising scripts. For feedback and support, use the contact channel linked from this site.
